What started out as helping my parents take a vacation turned into a passion and my full time career! My parents, Mac & Reeda McKay were the owners of Rodgers Co Realty in Republic and started their real estate careers in 1986. I graduated from Republic High School in 1988 and went to Missouri State (then SMSU) . In 1994 after working at a local radio station in marketing and public relations, Dad asked me to get my real estate license so I could watch the office while they went on vacation...this was before cell phones were commonly used. I passed the real estate test & got my license and took a week off from my current job to babysit the Real Estate Office and hold Open House for the parents while on vacation. That week I sold 5 houses while they were gone & when they got home I QUIT my job to become a REALTOR®! I absolutely love working with families to get their homes ready to sell and purchasing a new one. I have been blessed to be able to have grown up in the business and learning the ins and outs from my parents and by obtaining my brokers licence. I have been able to be involved in my community and serve on many boards. In 2006, my Dad passed away after a short illness and I became the Broker of Rodgers Co Realty and was lucky enough to be able to work along side my mom, Reeda, and longtime agent/friend, Madge Blades. In 2013, Madge and Reeda decided to retire and I had the opportunity to sell our building and join the office of Coldwell Banker Vanguard REALTORS®. I’m proud to announce that after 6 years I have joined AMAX Real Estate & I have been given an opportunity to work with the top producers in the Springfield area.

I’m in the 25th year of helping people achieve home ownership and finding the home of their dreams.
